Pinwheels

A few days ago, I had a "hankering" for some pinwheels. You know, those dainty little finger foods you have at bridal showers and baby showers? Yes, those. Since I don't like to pay the high price grocery stores have on them, I decided I could make my own. It's my own version. I'm not sayin' you have to try this recipe, I'm just sayin' it was decent. I'm sure I could get creative and add more to them, but I was in a hurry. And hungry. ; )

First, I gathered all the ingredients, which were tortillas, cream cheese with chives, and thin sliced ham.
Then, I slathered (lightly) some of the cream cheese onto a tortilla.

Next came the ham.

Then, I rolled it up. And voila! A homemade pinwheel.

  1. Thanks for your sweet comment and it does give me peace. :)I have been induced as well, but you know I am real nutty about my daughter. :)I love pinwheels too. I do make them for lunch and I always feel like it is special. Not to mention I get to eat the whole thing. you know you wouldn't at a baby shower. :)
I noticed that you like butter cream frosting and red velvet cake. My goal someday, who knows when is to eat a whole red velvet cake with a fork. :)

    Thanks for stopping by,
